Holy Nata sells some of the greatest Portuguese egg tarts that I've ever had (and at a pretty reasonable price point!). Perfectly crispy (but not overly hard), well-balanced custard smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. These are addicting; once you have one it's so hard to stop, especially when it's still warm just after buying it. Compared to other egg tarts, it definitely errs towards less eggy, so it'll be pretty different from the ones you might find at a Chinese bakery or restaurant. They're a pretty small hole-in-the-wall type of shop near Montgomery station, there's some nice outdoor seating nearby in a plaza nearby though. They also have some special flavors on Tuesdays / Thursdays apparently, e.g. peanut butter or nutella. Definitely would love to try these sometime.
