General Notes

I heard of this place because someone spotted Culinary Monster (contestant on culinary class wars 2) here and posted it on instagram / tiktok. The food was solid but not as noteworthy as some of the other places I had been. Overall great food but a somewhat forgettable experience.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★☆☆☆ hojok galbi -- Korean-style short rib steak served with a salad and galbi sauce. Very ... okay. Not bad by any means but it definitely looks and sounds better than it actually tastes.
  • ★★☆☆ beef tartare -- beef, soy sauce, seaweed mayo, lotus root chips, sesame seed, chive. Pretty solid but something felt a little missing here, maybe it was the texture / savoriness of the beef that was a bit lacking.
  • ★★★☆ Truffle Potato Pancake -- potato, truffle mayo, bacon, parmesan cheese. Very delicious, nice and crispy
  • ★★★☆ ramyun fried rice -- fried rice made with shin cup noodles, and bacon served with chili oil and scallions. Quite spicy, very delicious.
