General Notes

Hill and Bar is your typical American restaurant/bar, situated in Midtown East near the 34th street ferry stop. I came here in a large group for a company event. Food was served catering style, with large platters of items. Food was not particularly noteworthy, nor was it especially bad, kind of what I would expect from platters of food like that.

Dishes Tasted
  • ★★★☆ Cookies, Brownies -- Actually very good quality cookies and brownies; I definitely went back for seconds.
  • ★☆☆☆ Chicken Wings
  • ★☆☆☆ Avocado Toast -- Not good; the avocado was too soft and had no texture, and the flavor was a bit weird; it needed less of whatever it was and a bit more simple salt and pepper.
  • ★★☆☆ Burgers -- Decent burgers; the patties were absolutely massive, but reasonably well cooked. The seasoning was there and the other elements (tomato, onion, cheese) were good.
