An upscale Korean beef restaurant in Gangnam. In my mind, this place is kind of like the Korean analogue of an American steakhouse. Good quality beef and great experience, but relatively uninspiring preparations for the food. This was definitely the best beef that I had in Korea -- it was tender and cooked well. The preparations were pretty simple. We had a group of 6 and ordered the menu for 6. There was one dish where beef sirloin was served atop stir-fried vegetables. There was another dish with thinly sliced beef served with an assortment of accompaniments like scallop, steamed egg, vegetables, meant to be wrapped with a buckwheat flatbread. There was also a dish of "thinly sliced beef sushi", rice rolled in thinly sliced beef, seared at the table. It was an experience for sure; the server would blowtorch stuff at the table. The food was good, but again, not particularly noteworthy.
