Based on what I can glean from Yelp, sushi is the star at Hakashi Japanese Sushi Bar + Grill. I, unfortunately, did not order sushi and was a bit disappointed. Which is a shame, since Hakashi is definitely on the pricier side and has good reviews to boot. I'd be interested in coming back to try their sushi items, but I'd probably skip their non-sushi items.

• ★★☆☆ Shrimp Tempura Hand Roll -- Decent -- the flying fish roe added a nice touch but it felt like it needed a bit of sauce to balance everything out.
• ★☆☆☆ Katsu Don -- Good flavor, but the texture of the katsu was not good. The exterior is overly soggy (even by katsu standards) and the interior was tough, not juicy at all.
