General Notes

I had associated gukbap with pork rice places, but upon searching it up I learned that it's actually just referring to rice in hot soup. This restaurant has apparently been around since 1962, and has a short concise menu specializing in beef gukbap. It's pretty decent and comforting, although it didn't leave a particularly strong impression on me.

Dishes Tasted

  • ☆☆☆☆ Boild Beef -- pretty disgusting, I like the sauce it comes with but definitely not "light and tender". It is very dry and tough
  • ★★☆☆ Seonji Soup and Rice -- gyeongsang-style seonjigukbap (contains: cow blood) made with rich beef broth, radish, and bean sprouts for a refreshing taste. Pretty good broth, the cow blood tastes just like pigs blood. I got the rice separately.
