Round two of gyutan restaurant in Sendai, this time this place specializes in gyutan. It was incredible, although somehow only the third best gyutan place we went to. Rated pretty highly on tabelog (3.6, I think). Again, we had a group of 5 people and ordered 2 large gyutan set menus. This place served their gyutan more cooked, around medium-well. So it was not _quite_ as tender or juicy as the top two, but still very tender + juicy. The flavor and char is incredible. I especially enjoyed the accompaniments; this was my first tail soup and it was DELICIOUS -- it tasted kind of like kalbitang except a little lighter. Interestingly, gyutan always serves barley rice. Note that they do not speak an ounce of English so you'll need some Japanese chops to order here.
