General Notes
Grand Lux Cafe is an American restaurant located in the heart of the Venetian. I would compare this place to a Cheesecake Factory -- they both have a massive menu and the structure of the menu is similar. The food here is actually surprisingly good, and the prices are quite reasonable, especially by Vegas strip standards. It's certainly worth a try, particularly if you're with a larger group and don't want to worry too much about deciding where to go -- they've certainly got something for everyone.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★★☆ Double Smashed Cheeseburger -- two certified angus beef burgers with grilled onions, crispy melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and special sauce. This is actually a really, really good burger. Patties are cooked well, flavor is excellent, and it comes with just the right amount of lettuce + tomato. The special sauce is a nice touch. The sweet potato fries were slightly soggy and a little disappointing, though.
- ★★★☆ Stacked Chicken Quesadilla -- tortillas layered with melted cheese, chicken, tomato, black beans and green chiles. Served with sour cream and salsa. Cheese is excellent, chicken is in large chunks and relatively tender, and the tomato + salsa + corn add a nice touch.
