General Notes

I dream of the special rockfish stew with abalone and shrimp here. If I could, I would order just the rockfish stew for 2 along with the leaf wraps and rice and enjoy it by myself (but I can't, since everything is in a set menu). The rockfish stew was probably my second favorite dish I had in Korea, other than the raw marinaded crab. Honestly, the other dishes were mediocre, but holy moly that rockfish stew was good. It gave me an appreciation for rockfish (usually, not the biggest fan), tofu, and Korean radish in a way that I've never had.

Their menu is pretty simple and they have an English / Chinese menu, so you'll have no problem ordering. Their menu is structured as several set menu options, which vary by price. Choose one to your liking for the whole table and enjoy.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★☆☆ Seasoned Vegetables with octopus and murex -- Murex is apparently a type of sea snail. It tastes just like every other seasoned raw seafood dish in Korea; a zesty gochujang based sauce. It's okay, not the biggest fan but I do like the freshness of it.
  • ★★☆☆ Seaweed Soup
  • ★☆☆☆ Grilled Sea Bream -- Whole fish is just ... not meant to be fried. It's really challenging to eat and isn't particularly noteworthy.
  • ★★★★ Special Rockfish Stew with Abalone & Shrimp -- One of the most delicious dishes I've ever had. I love the flavor of the broth, especially how it permeates the rockfish and the radish. Each component is cooked perfectly. I've never enjoyed tofu, Korean radish, and leafy greens so much in my life. Tastes delightful with a bowl of rice.
