General Notes

Supposedly, this restaurant was founded in Ginza in 1927 and it was exported to Hawaii. It's quite popular, a good idea to make a reservation here. Probably some of the most expensive tonkatsu that you'll have, but you can tell the difference in the quality of the pork. Personally, a bit too greasy / the crust is a little bit too thick for my taste, but worth a try.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★★☆ specialty kurobata pork loin katsu (deluxe set) -- Overall, very yummy. The pork is super tender, and quite fatty. It's fried well, super crisp. For me, I found it to be a bit too greasy / the crust a little bit too thick.
