General Notes

Bustling restaurant in Capitola serving up a ton of different things in a food-hall style setting, including pastries, desserts, sandwiches, salads, miscellaneous other lunch items, and some entree-style items. What I like the most about this place is definitely the sheer variety of items that you can get. Many items, especially the salads and cold items, come in different sizes, which allows you to try a bunch of different items, which is exactly what we did. The food itself is average, but everything is very reasonably priced.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★★☆ deviled eggs -- pretty solid
  • ★★☆☆ ham + brie open-faced sandwich -- it was a little warmed, which was a nice touch
  • ☆☆☆☆ anchovies -- wayyyy too sour. I usually like anchovies but this doesn't have any of the savory flavor, just the intense sour flavor.
  • ★★★☆ shrimp + artichoke salad -- shrimp has a nice texture, overall salad has a nice tart flavor
  • ★★☆☆ raspberry napoleon
everything else
raspberry napoleon
