General Notes

Compared to some of the other places I've been to in Carmel, this is a pretty good option. The concept of this restaurant is interesting - most of the dishes have a strong Asian influence. It probably still isn't worth the price, but it's not bad for Carmel. Take my word on this restaurant with a grain of salt since I came here in 2014 - I don't have much faith in my palate from back then.

Positives

> The breadsticks were incredible and really stood out. Perhaps more accurately, they weren't really breadsticks but more like fried chips, which were cooked beautifully and paired really well with a fresh, tangy salsa.
> The interior decor is nice and romantic.

Negatives

> In general, I didn't have a very positive opinion about the fish dishes, which seemed a bit overpriced. But again, take this with a grain of salt.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★☆☆ Hot Fudge Sundae
  • ★☆☆☆ Alaska Black Cod
  • ★☆☆☆ Black Bean Halibut
  • ★★☆☆ Artichoke -- Not a huge fan of artichoke leaves, but the sauces were good.
