General Notes

I haven't actually eaten inside the restaurants many times, but many events that I have attended have catered Flour pastries and sandwiches. Flour consistently delivers good quality food at reasonable prices. A nice place to enjoy a light brunch or lunch, meet up with friends, etc.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★★★ Country Bread -- A somewhat unassuming option, but Flour is my go-to place when I want to procure bread for a dish like Shakshuka.
  • ★★★★ Mini Sticky Bun -- One of their flagship desserts, and it's absolutely delicious - would definitely recommend giving it a try. Ask for it to be heated up too. It has an amazing texture - a perfect combination of warm, buttery, fluffy, sticky (caramel!). The deep caramel flavor pairs perfectly with the roasted pecans.
  • ★★☆☆ Roasted Lamb Sandwich -- Goat cheese, ras el hanout, roasted carrots, tomato-ginger chutney, focaccia. The flavor combination is actually quite nice - I especially enjoyed the chutney. The composition of the sandwich was a bit weird (the huge chunks of vegetables didn't go well), and the lamb was a bit too chewy.
