General Notes
Came here on Father's Day for lunch, and had a delightful meal here! They had a couple of Father's Day specials; we got the $125 seafood platter to share. The vibes of this restaurant are fantastic, although I think I'm probably heavily biased b/c the day we came, it was warm, sunny, and not windy at all -- definitely anomalies for Half Moon bay. This was also my first time venturing around downtown Half Moon Bay, and it has a lovely quaint environment. The food itself is good but not amazing.
Dishes Tasted
- ★☆☆☆ Bianca? -- (I forget the name, it's not showing up on the online menu right now) fig, caramelized onions, crispy bacon, + prosciutto; Meh, the flavors are a bit flat and the crust itself is hard and not so crisp.
- ★★★☆ Seafood Platter -- whole grilled branzino, scallops, mussels, clams, deep-fried calamari, prawns, misc. The branzino is amazing -- juicy, flavorful, and delightfully crispy skin. The scallops, prawns, and calamari are also amazing. The clams and mussels were a bit disappointing -- they were really huge and quite rubbery.
