East Harbor Seafood Palace is a large dim-sum restaurant located in the southwest corner of Brooklyn at the outskirts of the Sunset Park Chinatown. Dim sum generally fails to impress me, but I genuinely really enjoyed the food and I'd say this was one of my favorite dim sum experiences. Good food, very reasonable price, and good company. I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try!
> Very reasonably priced; I feel like we ate a ton and I drank like an entire pot of tea by myself, but the total bill (after tip and tax) for a party of 6 was just $90. Definitely one of the best value meals I've had in a long time.
> The food is prepared with precision! The highlights of the meal were the 凤爪 (flavorful, tender, and tendon-ny), 虾饺 (wrapper had a good level of resistance but was relatively thin, and the shrimp filling was large and fresh), and 马拉糕. I've never even heard of the last one, but it was essentially a steamed custardy sponge cake - really simple but delicious.
> Definitely one of the most popular dim sum restaurants in the area, and waits can get pretty long during peak times. It's not unreasonable by any means though; I waited around 30-40 minutes for a table at 12:30pm on a Sunday.
