General Notes

A tiny, unassuming Vietnamese restaurant specializing in banh mi in the middle of SoMa. I nearly missed it when I walked by -- it is completely unadorned and looks just like a typical apartment building. The food does not disappoint though -- this is a great spot for takeout banh mis. It happens to be right next to my work's office, so there's a good chance that I'll return.

  • ★★★☆ The Special Banh Mi -- pickled carrots + daikon, cucumber, cilantro, jalapenos, mayo on a french baguette with slow roasted pork, fancy pork loaf, and pork pate. Overall, pretty good sandwich. I would have liked more pickled vegetables and less slow roasted pork (which was a bit dry), but the pork loaf and pork pate were delightful and the baguette was just the perfect texture.
