Great sandwich shop in central SoMa (and conveniently located a block away from my current office). As a result, I've been here quite a few times now. The sandwiches are delicious and thoughtfully constructed to achieve the perfect balance in each bite. I especially like their French roll, which has an amazing texture and pairs really well with other components in the sandwich. A bit on the pricier side for a sandwich shop, but absolutely worth it and the sandwiches are huge.
> The sandwiches are HUGE. They don't look that large, but they are densely packed and filled high with meat. A full sandwich, especially one with heavier meats like pastrami, corned beef, or roast beef, is quite a lot of food. It's not a bad idea to split a sandwich + fries with another person, especially if you're not that hungry.
> Each sandwich comes "board pickles" on the side, which is essentially ... a whole pickle. While the pickle itself is quite solid it's a little bit awkward to eat. I don't fully understand the idea behind serving a whole pickle on the side.
