General Notes

Delah Coffee is an interesting Yemeni cafe, situated right next to my old apartment. It's fairly new -- I remember they opened around August 2022. The vibes are pretty nice, and I love the smell of cardamom that just permeates the entire room. It's so alluring. I'm excited to try some of their other offerings and pastries. One major draw of this place is that it's open late (usually until 10 or 11 on weekends) -- good place to hang out later in the evening if you're looking for cafe vibes.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★☆☆☆ Pistachio Milk Cake -- Delightfully moist, but I wasn't a fan of the flavor. It was ... strange, tasting almost oddly medicinal.
  • ★★★★ Kunafa Cheesecake -- this cheesecake was absolutely incredible; I have no idea what the orange strands on top are but the cheesecake was amazing.
  • ★★☆☆ Pink Socotra -- rose, lavender, shaked with mint. Served with 7up, I personally found it to be a touch too sweet, and would have liked a touch more rose + lavender. But overall it was a solid drink.
