Japanese cafe situated in the Lower East Side. Very "instagram-friendly" -- the interior looks pretty cute, and their dishes / toasts are very aesthetic. I also noticed that they have a bunch of Balmuda toasters that they use to make their toasts. Unfortunately, the food is not particularly noteworthy, I probably wouldn't come back again. This feels like one of those places which popped off from social media more because of the aesthetic than the food.

• ★★☆☆ berry and cream cheese toast -- good but not particularly noteworthy, it mostly just looks pretty
• ★★☆☆ black sesame kinako latte
• ★☆☆☆ chicken karaage -- japanese fried chicken with honey mustard. Not fried very well, more "hard" than "crispy". Flavor was decent but I'm not a big fan of the honey mustard combination.
