General Notes

Korean restaurant serving up traditional classics in Temescal. Pretty solid food overall. I enjoyed their beef stews quite a bit (this was my first time having one). Otherwise, nothing too much of note.

Positives

> They offer a lot of different kinds of banchan -- 8 including various things that you don't typically see, such as broccoli and macaroni salad (both of which were surprisingly good).

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★★☆ Dol Galbitang -- beef short rib with glass noodles and radish in a hot pot. This was my first time having beef bone broth at a Korean restaurant; I was very pleasantly surprised! The broth is AMAZING. So flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and relatively light. The beef itself was a bit tough at times but it was also nice and fatty in others. Everything else is secondary though; the broth is the winner here
  • ★★☆☆ Seafood Pancake -- Pretty solid, definitely on the upper end of a 2/4. I really liked the dipping sauce in particular. I also like that it was cut into 16 squares, which made it much easier to work with and eat.
  • ★★☆☆ Ddukboki -- Average; the flavor was nice but the sauce was a bit too thick for my taste. The rice cake was solid, but I would have liked it to be slightly more chewy.
