I got an advertisement for this place and have been dying to try it since I saw that advertisement. To this day I'm still a little bit confused about Churro Cone. I've seen it listed as a spinoff of Chikalicious (which makes sense considering its hours), but at the same time the interior does not resemble Chikalicious at all. The Google Maps listing for this place seems completely wrong too. I finally gave it a try, and it tasted absolutely amazing. The only thing I wish is for the churro to be in the form of a bowl instead of a cone, which would make it easier to enjoy all the components together. Otherwise, the dessert was delicious and I'd recommend giving this place a try.
> The options on their menu all seem super delicious. I ordered the S'mores, but I would just as equally be down to try the Tiramisu, Cookies & Cream, or cheesecake churro cone. And the food does not disappoint - the components of the dessert were excellent.
> The texture of their ice cream is excellent. It is served out of a soft-serve system, but it has a firmer (less soft) consistency, which I like a lot.
> Churro Cone has some really strange hours. They are only open from Thursday to Sunday, until 11pm.
> A bit messy to eat. Because of the way the churro cone is constructed, ice cream can sometimes leak from the bottom, and cinnamon sugar will end up getting everywhere.
> The churro cone actually has very minimal volume. As a result, for the first 75% of your experience, you will inevitably be eating only ice cream, and only at the end will you get to enjoy the ice cream (not a lot left at this point) with the churro. Kind of a shame, because they taste pretty incredible together. I feel that this would work a lot better as a bowl, kind of like a funnel cake bowl, instead of a cone.
> This place essentially has no seating. It's certainly not the most pleasant interior by any stretch of the imagination.
