General Notes

This restaurant is incredible, truly a hidden gem in the up-and-coming Innovation District at the eastern corner of the Seaport District. Situated in what is most likely an old repurposed warehouse, the decor has an industrial yet modern and elegant feel to it. The food was very good, kind of like a fusion between New American and Mediterranean cuisines. The prices were very reasonable, and I had an awesome experience here. I'd love to have the opportunity to try some of their other dishes, particularly for dinner. It is a bit far, but I think it's definitely worth the trip and I would highly recommend giving this place a try!

Positives

> Given the very reasonable price point, the food was prepared very precisely. Delicious!
> Everything about this restaurant is incredible aesthetic. The interior decor has a industrial yet modern and elegant feel to it. The presentation and plating of the food is beautiful. Even the bathrooms are incredible.
> I came here for Saturday brunch. Perhaps because of it's location (or maybe it's just more popular for dinner), the restaurant was not crowded, and I was easily able to get a seat. On a similar note, I like how the restaurant itself is very spacious.

Negatives

> Quite far from campus, so it's a bit annoying to get there if you don't have a car. But I think it is possible to get here via the silver line, so that's an option.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★★☆ Chickadee Bowl -- Two fried eggs, cumin-lamb sausage, kholrabi tzatziki, home fries. The cumin lamb sausage was incredibly flavorful and delicious. The kholrabi tzatziki sauce had an interesting texture (kind of like pulled crab meat) but added a nice flavor/texture contrast to the dish. These were by far the best home fries I've had - incredibly well fried and crispy. My only complaint is the egg, which was a bit over-fried; much of the yolk became set.
