General Notes

Vietnamese restaurant specializing in bun bo hue, which is a beef noodle soup with a lot of unusual components, like pork paste and pork blood. A friend of mine recommended it to me a while back, and I finally had a chance to try it out! It was pretty yummy and comforting; the components in the dish sound really strange (e.g. pizzle, which is apparently bull penis), but it all tastes delicious. Note: they only accept cash or debit cards.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★★☆ Bun Bo Hue Dac Biet -- house special spicy beef noodle soup. Rice noodle, spicy beef, pork, tendon, pork paste, pork blood. Personally wasn't a big fan of the rice noodles -- they had a weird texture. The rest of the components were delicious though. The broth was excellent and I like that they offer cabbage, mint, and shrimp paste on the side!
