General Notes
Excellent new French bistro-esque restaurant that opened recently just off the strip. We had a party of 15 and they were able to accommodate us nicely on short notice, they provided us with a nice private room too. Surprisingly not too busy. Overall, the food was quite good and at a pretty reasonable price point too. Would recommend for larger parties.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★☆☆ dessert of the day -- a bit weird, it's like a coconut cream gelato, with coconut flakes, passionfruit, and basil. It's refreshing but the flavor is a little weird.
- ★★★☆ braised short rib -- red wine black pepper sauce, roasted mushrooms, potato puree, horseradish bread.
- ★★★☆ pan roasted cod -- zarzuela broth, stewed leek, marcona almond rouille, grilled baguette. Flavor is nice and cod is super tender
- ★★☆☆ filet mignon "rossini" -- seared foie gras, truffle, and madeira jus. It sounds great but it's just alright. Maybe I'm just not the biggest fan of filet
- ★★☆☆ saffron risotto -- special item, saffron risotto with prawns. Alright
- ★★★☆ parisian gnocchi -- parisian ham, comte cheese, roasted scallion. The flavor is nice, I enjoyed the texture of the gnocchi too
- ★★★★ bravas potato -- crispy layered potato, traditional brava sauce. This is so good, love the texture and the way this is fried
- ★★☆☆ croqueta -- croque monsieur, dijonnaise
- ★★★☆ carpaccio -- puri bread, payoya cheese espuma, truffle vinaigrette
- ★★★☆ half shell scallop crudo -- pernod vin, fines herbes, espelette, grapefruit sorbet.
- ★★☆☆ golden tartare -- gold beets, apple, yellow bell pepper, cashew, savora mustard sorbet. A bit of a weird dish but something nice to start the meal off with
- ★★★☆ coca bread with echire butter -- butter is delicious, apparently european butter which has higher fat content
- ★☆☆☆ cucumber mint gazpacho -- this tasted a little strange
