General Notes
Cute Japanese restaurant with a hint of European influences in the eastern part of the Mission, near SF general hospital. Food is great and reasonably priced. Definitely try their mentaiko spaghetti if you enjoy mentaiko in general. I came here for lunch on a nice Saturday morning and it was pretty busy, expect to wait a little bit.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★☆☆ Katsu Curry -- Japanese style curry with chicken katsu and rice; solid, but not particularly noteworthy.
- ★★★★ Mentaiko Spaghetti -- tossed with cured cod roe mix, seaweed, shiso leaf, and a creamy buttery sauce. This dish was SO GOOD, the mentaiko and shiso especially added a nice touch. The sauce almost "tastes like a croissant" because of all the butter in the sauce, it's very luscious.
