General Notes
A pretty well-known place for oysters in the Bodega Bay area, the oysters are definitely pretty good but they're also pretty pricey. A good option for a snack if you're passing by but I wouldn't make it my main meal. This was the first time that I tried BBQ oysters and it was amazing; might try grilling oysters myself in the future.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★☆☆ raw oysters taster plate -- some of the better oysters I've had! I really liked the tiny one because of how delicate the flavor was (although it also felt kind of awful paying that much money for it). A bit pricey especially considering the environment, but definitely tasty.
- ★★★☆ bacon butter -- caramelized onions, bacon butter, topped with fresh parsley. excellent combination!
- ★★☆☆ japanese bbq sauce grilled oyster -- bachan's original bbq sauce, topped with green onion and crushed chips. a little too salty, the flavor overwhelms the oyster a bit
