A classic Korean institution, with various locations across the US. This review is for one of the two LA Koreatown restaurants (the one on Wilshire). Solid food at very reasonable prices. Not necessarily the top of the top in terms of the food, but a quintessential Koreatown experience that I'd recommend that everyone have at least once.
> Especially considering the banchan, this restaurant is remarkably affordable. It really comes from economies of scale and optimizing every aspect of their process.
> Their selection of banchan is solid. Their fish cakes are my favorite; with a delightful chewy texture and lovely flavor. Their kimchi is refreshing, and all meals are also served with a fried fish as well.
> If you're hungry or impatient, this is the place for you. Their service is blazing fast and super efficient. The wait time is also pretty reasonable; I had a party of two at around 7:30pm on a Friday night, and was seated in just 10 minutes.
> The queue and waiting to get a seat here can be pretty chaotic.
