General Notes

Small shop specializing in Hokkaido cheese tarts at the northernmost end of the food court in the lower level of Westfield, in the heart of downtown San Francisco. This is my first time enjoying cheese tarts and they were solid -- nothing mindblowing but thoughtfully constructed. I had gone relatively late in the day, and I wonder if they would have been better earlier in the day. Fairly expensive, at $3.50 each. Definitely worth trying but I wouldn't go out of my way to get them in the future.

  • ★★☆☆ Vegan Cheese Tart -- Certainly not as creamy as the regular cheese tarts, but it's remarkable how well these replicate the real deal.
  • ★★☆☆ Raspberry Cheese Tart -- Funnily enough, the one thing these remind me of most is Yoplait yogurt, except thicker and creamier. The flavor is very similar.
