General Notes

Arepas Latin Cuisine is a Venezuelan restaurant. They serve up a variety of dishes, specializing in all kinds of arepas. The arepas are delicious -- I love the crispiness of the exterior and the flavor / mouth feel of the maize bun. Some of the other dishes are a little bit more questionable, but I'd definitely recommend this place for the arepas themselves. Oddly enough, this restaurant is VERY empty, even during peak hours like Friday evenings, which is kind of weird...

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★★☆ Arepa Pabellon -- Shredded beef, black beans, sweet plantain, & cheese
  • ★★★☆ Arepa Cochinita -- braised pork, lettuce, pico de gallo cheese, and house sauce. Delicious! The texture on the arepa is nice and crispy and is delicious.
  • ★☆☆☆ Parilla -- grilled steak, grilled chicken, chorizo, yuca, tostones, french fries, house salad, cheese and dipping sauces. Yucca fries are delicious, fries are decent, tostones are ok (a little over-fried), salad is decent, and the meats are atrocious -- really dry / overcooked. I'd just order a side of yucca fries separately next time.
