General Notes
Mediocre dim-sum restaurant in the heart of Bellaire Chinatown. Probably not a place I'd return to.
Dishes Tasted
- ☆☆☆☆ 萝卜糕 -- way too much other flavorings, plus it was cold (not fried properly)
- ★★★☆ 肠粉 -- beef, they added a bit of lime zest which was a nice touch actually
- ★★☆☆ 流沙包 -- decent but not amazing, not quite as runny as I was hoping.
- ★★☆☆ 虾饺 -- the wrapper was a little soft / didn't quite have the chewiness I was hoping for. The shrimp itself was pretty good, they added a little bit of something with a textural contrast which I was neutral about
- ★☆☆☆ 芥蓝 -- a little undercooked, was hoping the oyster sauce was a little less concentrated / had garlic flavor
