General Notes
A lovely classic American brunch place in San Mateo / Foster City. They have a very expansive menu and serve up pretty much all of your breakfast classics, as well as some lunch items. They also have a "bakery" section where they sell a variety of different donuts (including apple fritters, as you might expect). Good food, nice vibes, reasonable prices. A good option for brunch. (do note that they can get pretty busy, especially during peak hours)
Dishes Tasted
- ★★★☆ Mayan Mocha -- a little bit too sweet for my taste, but otherwise the flavors are quite nice.
- ★★☆☆ Bok Bok -- (donut sandwich) fried chicken, bacon bits, jalapenos, bourbon sauce, american, sunny egg on a glazed donut. All the components inside the sandwich are great, but I'm personally not a fan of the donut sandwich. The structural integrity of the donut leaves a lot to be desired, and it makes the sandwich way too sweet (the bourbon sauce is enough sweetness by itself)
