General Notes
Pretty solid Mediterannean restaurant in South San Francisco. The ambiance and presentation of the dishes has a decided upscale / traditional vibe to it. Good food, hearty portions, reasonable prices.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★★☆ Avocado and Roasted Carrots Salad + Salmon -- Persian cucumber, french feta, dill. This combination seems weird at first glance (all these hearty / creamy ingredients with cucumber made me skeptical), but it works out surprisingly well. I'd be surprised if it were the "best item on the menu" as the server claimed, but it was a pretty solid salad. The salmon was perfectly cooked, although the flavor was not the most inspiring. Pretty hearty portions.
- ★★☆☆ Falafel and Tahini Sauce -- Solid falafel -- crispy exterior, warm + fluffy interior. The flavor of the falafel is a little bit strange, though.
