General Notes

It is kind of interesting that there is randomly a ramen shop (as far as I can tell, the only Japanese restaurant) in the middle of Chinatown. That being said, the ramen here is decent and very reasonably priced (only $8). The broth and some of the toppings are a bit of a letdown, however.

Dishes Tasted

  • ★★☆☆ Deluxe Ramen -- Chashu pork (3pc) - tender with a good level of fat. Tender pork rib - well seasoned with a good level of fattiness, but the meat itself was a little hard/dry. The other toppings were meh and didn't add much. The noodles were well-cooked with a good resistance. The broth was not bad, but pretty bland, it didn't have much flavor, freshness, or savoriness.
