General Notes
Decent Vietnamese restaurant in SoHo, with a couple of other locations scattered throughout NYC as well. Good but not particularly noteworthy. Probably their most interesting dish is their banh xeo tacos, which are typically prepared as a "crepe" form but adapted as a taco here. Didn't try it but seems interesting.
Dishes Tasted
- ★★☆☆ Bun Bo Hue -- beef shank, angus brisket, black pepper Chua Lua (vietnamese pork patty) with thick rice noodles in a spicy lemongrass broth. Not as spicy as the menu would suggest. The brisket is really good, the shank is meh, the Chua Lua is pretty good too. The raw cabbage is a bit weird to me, flavor is solid.
